Heidi uses creative approaches in her work with women, children and families. Art and play therapy help children express and process their emotions. Young children need an approach that is developmentally appropriate for them. As a Professional Art Therapist, she uses art and play therapy to help children express what they may have trouble verbalizing. She partners with parents to tailor an approach that is attune to their child's needs.

She also works with women needing a warm and supportive place to process a variety of life issues.

Heidi is gentle, intuitive and accepting in her approach and has worked as a psychotherapist for over 15 years.

All of our therapists have a Masters degree or its equivalent and are able to use CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) along with other counselling models.  In addition to counselling, we offer creative approaches to therapy.

Office Administrator

Christina uses play and art therapy in her work with children and teens.  A creative approach can help children dealing with adjustment issues, anxiety and stress to feel safe to express themselves.  She works with both children and parents to help them build healthier and more connected relationships.  Christina has a special interest in children with behavioural problems and defiance. Creative interventions give children a voice to express what they may have difficulty putting into words. The approach she takes also helps children become more able to verbalize their feelings.

Do you have a teen girl you are worried about? Christina creates a safe space for girls struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety and stress, peer relationships and conflict with parents.

Christina also works with young adults facing the stresses and life choices this age often involves.  Recognizing this can be a time of great opportunity and excitement, but also great transition and challenge, Christina offers a nonjudgmental and supportive space to process a variety of issues facing young adults.

Christina maintains a soft yet strong presence and cares deeply about the children, families and individuals she works with.
